3:33 marathon, At first I was really dissapointed, but then when I realized that I had just PR by 3 minutes and I did that in bad weather and a head wind. What was amazing is I really ejoyed the running in fact I didnt see one mile marker uniil I hitt mile 20, and I had to ask the girl next to me if that was really 20, I was in total shock, I didnt look at my split times or anything, I just tried to stay as relaxed as I could. and focused on my running. and not worry about my time. this may or may not be good, maybe I could have gone faster, but, considering the rain and wind. Iam very happy, Coach really inspired me these last 6 weeks, I had such a slow provo half, and walked for 12 minutes. Coach really woke me up to running. Iam going to get back to working on my base and maybe I will run Ogden. to qualify for Boston. Craig Green has given me some good advice too. Work on your base during the week , so that is what Iam planning. Happy running all! |
